MRW offers its website with an accessible design to be able to guarantee access to as many people as possible, bearing in mind the groups with physical, cognitive disabilities and those with different technological or access environments.
In developing this website, we have considered the accessibility procedures established by the work group of the WAI (Web Access Initiative) that belongs to the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). This web specifically adapts to the procedures of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, level double A, which are subject to the other standards and considerations described below.
All of the web pages fulfil XHTML 1.0 by W3C or HTML 4.01, as the case may be. In all cases, the criteria of semantic and structural writing have been followed to separate the contents from the structure of the presentation.
The contents of the web page have been presented according to the CSS2 recommendations of W3C.
The mentioned standards guarantee access to the information on the website through any navigation device that follows the standards and recommendations of the W3C.
The website defines the access keys in each of its sections. The combination of keys for access to the main sections will depend on the device and the access platform. One of the most common cases is the combination [alt]+[access key or ctrl]+[access key].
The way to enter the shortcut keyboard depends on the navigator used.
The list shows the different sections of the website and, for each one, the access keys in brackets and alongside, the section to which access is given.
The links that fail to clearly describe their destination have a "title" attribute with an explanatory text.
There are no links with the same description and different destinations, and as far as possible the links have a meaning out of context.
Minimal use has been made of the JavaScript code, and in such cases an alternative access is given to information for all devices that fail to support this code.
There is information that is visualised on separate pages, and in such cases the person browsing is informed that the information requested will be shown in a new window.
There are links that open new windows and show documents in PDF format, and in such cases the person browsing is informed of the type of document that will be opened.
All visual design attributes of the pages have been developed using CSS style sheets. If a browser or device does not support the style sheets, the content will still be legible thanks to the structural marking.
To be able to access all the web contents, your computer must have the following software installed: Shockwave Player, Acrobat Reader, QuickTime and Winzip.
The following list gives the accesses to the pages where this software may be downloaded.
If you should encounter any problem in accessing the content of the information or should wish to make any suggestion with respect to the accessibility, you can send it to us at accesibilidad@mrw.es.
